2nd Quarter a Busy One! (click here to read more)

Our Keiki Carnival was a blast, as you can tell by the pics above. We also had our annual campus visit by the wonderful Niu Valley Middle School Band, Orchestra, and Ensemble. They brought great music and entertainment to our entire school. Mahalo to Mr. Fanning and Mr. Miyashiro for their dedication and hard work.
We also had a visit from Howard Dashefsky and Justin Cruz of KHON2 who shared their knowledge of broadcasting. It was a great assembly with lots of information about how a news broadcast is put together.
Several families and staff members teamed up to participate in the annual Hawaii Kai Community Parade. As you can see from the photos, it was a beautiful day.
Mrs. Tsukiyama, our librarian, hosted our annual Scholastic Book Fair. There were so many new books to choose from. Our students went home happy. Hard copy books are still alive and well!
The quarter isn't over yet, as we prepare for our Winter Assembly coming up on Dec. 20.
