The School Community Council (SCC) is a major component of the overall leadership structure at Kamiloʻiki Elementary and consists of representatives from each of the different role groups within our school community; principal, teachers, staff, students, parents, and the community. The SCC’s primary role is to engage in a shared leadership process that ensures that the needs of all students are specifically addressed in the overall educational plan for our school. The SCC contributes to the development of the school’s academic and financial, which identifies the goals for the school and our programs, as well as the allocation of resources to achieve the goals. The SCC holds monthly meetings which are forums for the exchanging of ideas on how to improve student achievement and enhance student learning experiences.
The members of the SCC would like to personally invite you to attend their monthly meetings. Participation in these meetings are a rewarding experience and will provide you with the opportunity to make a difference in public education and more importantly, in the education of your child.
