The Kokua Club is a service club whose members give their time and energy to better the library. Kokua Club members are made up of 4th and 5th grade students who volunteer in the library during recess two times per week and attend meetings during lunch every other Friday. They help organize the books on the shelf, and assist students using the library. They also assist with library events such as the Scholastic Book Fair.
Kokua is a Hawaiian wording meaning to help, assist, and cooperate. This group of students dedicates themselves to school service with their time, hard work, and leadership.
Applications for Kokua Club are accepted at the beginning of each school year.
